Where are we now?
A new phase of engagement for the Strategic and Local Plan is now open to participation.
Drawing on the insights and feedback gathered during the initial engagement in 2024, this is another important opportunity for residents, businesses, and partners to have their say on the future of our area.
We are engaging on a number of topic and evidence papers. Each paper will be open to participation for a six week period.
You can explore topic papers and evidence studies, and sign up for notifications about new papers as they are released via our engagement portal.
This engagement will run until June 2026.
What happens next?
Once the current engagement closes and the feedback provided has been reviewed, it will be used to shape the next stage of the SLP and produce a Pre-Submission version of the Strategic and Local Plan.
